"To get a sense of whether or not XRA has that type of internal structure we reviewed every XRA press release available, from 2003, to present. From our own experience of decades in the corporate world, there is much understanding to be gained by listening to what management says and then watching what they do. A lot is revealed from such observations."

coffee maker

pinnacle of quality in coffee making gear. it's about a hundred dollars in equipment and supplies - the coffee is in the brown bag, locally roasted organic fair trade beans, dark roast, purchased in bulk at the corner store and farmer's market, and we brought our own paper sack ... so, no plastic - and, other than the kettle handle, there's no plastic of any kind involved.

there are actually vitamins created by this kind of equipment, very complex ones, very subtle ones, that you won't get from more mundane foods (except in special cases), or from (as a rule) anything that has been touched by plastic. there's an actual meaning to the materials - wood, steel, brass, paper, clay - and to their age, their ability to age. i've used this set, daily, for twenty years - same set, no changes.

it's not that plastic in your cooking will kill you, or that you can't live without this kind of vitamins, or that this kind of obsession isn't a little silly, but there is evidence this approach, really working at a kind of pure process, does create a surprising state of immunity ... life just flows by ... it's not easy ... but it just sort of flows by ...

same deal, lots of rising tops and bottoms in the three month chart. same extremely speculative fundamentals with a touch of esoteric knowledge to the story, sort of to put it mildly. very speculative type 20 year chart, but, a line, and then in the shorter term, here, signs of a bottom. flatness, for one thing, and then flatness above flatness.

oops! we just saw that, and then it went down. but this time it's bigger. yup, that's true.

what the heck is my theme, here? rising tops and bottoms suggest a bottom is forming, or has formed, because a bottom has to be well developed to produce them. Finally, I'm seeing which charts represent developed bottoms. And then I look at the fundamentals and consistently find at least evidence it is something quite big. One company says they're building a brand, and are going to be as big as coca cola, yup, that's what they said. And they're in the lumber business, so it's not like they're just copycats. Their CEO is super dynamic, and they have also sorts of stuff actually going on, even though they are very much just getting started. Another company is pursuing something very flighty, outrageous, actually, riding this crazy wave, and then has roots in, of all things, iron mining in India (and, my take, a fortune in that business). A third company does extremely high level formulary work, or at least, I guess that's what they do, and is running multiple clinical trials. That's this MSTX. I don't expect a huge bounce, pretty much more of a double ...

Oh, boy. OK, I liked the three month chart because of how it was just down, in a straight 45% line, like a bolt of lightning. Not sure what that means in terms of what's happening in the market for the stock, but it tends to get me interested. One year chart is a big, wide wave. If that were a swell in the sea, it would be out at sea, and there would be a lot of energy in it. Massive. Strange that it translates in a line on a stock chart, but there's at least some reason to think it does. So, taking a look at the twenty year chart, it's definitely interesting. It's distinctly energetic. That's a big surge it made earlier, and it was kind of frothy and crackling. And now it has narrowed to a kind of microscopic point, a needle point, on a giant spear head, the kind of point from which a lightning bolt would emerge. These are wave patterns. You can find them all in the sea.

But what, more exactly, is going on here? Six employees. Some tiny amount of revenues each year, but it's inconsequential, just an accounting thing. Surprisingly, $6 million in cash. And they believe they own this mineral property in Montana, the Montanore project. Somebody else did ten years of work on it, but then they transferred the property and all cores and intellectual property to Mining Management, symbol MGN. There's a horizontal mine shaft - it's got a specific name - which they're currently just maintaining. They've invested in a water treatment facility. They are waiting for permits, and then they want to drill another 3000 feet horizontally. Then they're going to "drift", and do "diamond core drilling", and explore this mineral deposit that the government itself (if I understood right) says may contain a certain amount of silver and copper.

All of that is going to cost about $12 million, and what they'll do is produce an assessment. If that assessment warrants it, they'll finance the mine, which will cost $555 million to build.

So this is completely and utterly speculative. There even might not be silver down there, in effect. But they do think there is, and they are actually crawling around under ground, and shuffling papers like crazy, based on that assessment they've made. And if it pans out, it's going to be a big mine. It's a chance to get in on a big mine, possibly, on the ground floor.

And, it's a stock. And that possibility of owning a big mine is causing quite a lot of people to put money into it. It also caused the price to surge upwards, and I mean surge. Now it has kind of surged downward again, but in a quite orderly way. Of course, there's silver down there, and gold, and those things spark the investor's imagination. I think this is going to surge upward again. It's not just the silver and gold behind that. It's the possibility of a big mine. But I do say it will be mostly speculative fever. The ultimate target price is probably around 60, and then we'll have to wait out another down wave. Ten or twenty years out it might be a big company.

I took a look after looking at the 3 month chart because of all the rising tops and bottoms, and when I looked at the one year chart, I liked the big rally earlier on. it looks a little early to buy, but I just ordered 100 shares anyway, at a price that was nicely marked, um, somewhere ... in the 10 day chart? .9. Then I rather liked the 20 year chart. And the short term action is really flat, not spiky downward at all. That's different from earlier. Is that what actual bottoms look like? What short term action am I talking about?! I think it's the ten day chart again.

Anyway, I took a look at the fundamentals, then. They should support my ideas about the chart, if the chart is that compelling. First, I like, love, the name, India Globalization Capital. I'm definitely interested in India, and Globalization is interesting, and I love Capital. It just made my ears prick up. Well, they have some very modest revenues, which have kind of fluctuated in the last five years, and are down the last year, and that's all I can tell you about their finances. Then they're in the iron ore business, and they also trade commodities and electronics out of Hong Kong. And they're kind of investing big in the indoor growing business, I guess, leaf greens, and maybe someday canabis. Wow! A pot stock. They can really move!

India, Iron, Commodities, Electronics, and Pot. I mean, are you telling me somebody just made that up? The annual report went into long detail, and it was interesting reading. Here's my conclusion: it's an adventuresome family fortune, rooted in the iron business in India, Construction in India, Commodities Trading in India, the Iron trade in China, with a branch office in Hong Kong, connections with agriculture, connections in marketing, and some how they've dreamed up this idea of getting into Vertical Farming, and Marijuana. Well, be adventuresome! Like I say, pot stocks can move. There might even be something to 'em.

what i'm afraid of is no one will watch my movies. what i'm afraid of is i'll never be able to program a web page that plays. a web page, on the web, where you can find a blank slate, and a few controls, and when you play with it, uploading images, typing text, uploading stuff like models, it'll put a bunch of code in your clip board, a complete record of what you did, and what you saw, and when you upload that, it'll play. but what does that mean? every time there's a change on screen it records as a frame ... ... ... ... ...

gene - and what is that noise?
